Statement
What we see feeds directly into our minds and affects everything from our moods to the way we interpret the reality around us. Creating images that can be beautiful in an attainable way representative of the physical world is in short supply. My work is designed to inspire appreciation for nature and reflection on how precarious that balance is. My work seeks to support Ecofeminism by showcasing the environment through representing nature as well as the female form. Questions I address are what it means to be human living inside the human form? What our role with the environment plays on our world and survival? How can different issues of women's rights and equality be represented using the physical body?
