Statement
Concept:My artistic vision revolves around metamorphosis and the transformation of natural elements. I am interested in surreal and semi-abstract representations of nature and human interactions, exploring the concept of metamorphosis through unique textures and layers. My works often blend organic materials with human forms to convey feelings of vulnerability and strength. In my recent projects, I have extensively worked with insect symbolism and their metamorphosis, integrating them with elements of nature such as trees, lakes, and abstract landscapes. The aim of my works is to provoke thought about the passage of time, the fragility of existence, and the cyclical nature of life and death. The fusion of the insect and human worlds aligns with my academic background in entomology.Medium and Technique:I primarily work with oil paints and palette knives to create rich, textured surfaces. Using a palette knife allows me to produce dynamic, expressive layers that add depth and movement to the piece. I also employ abstract brushstrokes and natural textures to establish an organic harmony within the composition.
