Statement
My name is Katherine Chang. I am currently a 6th grader at Kennedy Middle School in Cupertino. I have loved art since I was 8 years old and have been dedicated to growing as an artist. Over the past year, my drawings have received recognition at both the state and national levels, and I was honored to win 1st place in Kennedy Middle School art contest. I am so proud to see my artwork displayed in school library, and my classmates are always excited to see what I create. I am inspired by the world around me, and I enjoy observing, imagining, and turning my dreams into drawings.In the future, I hope to become a well-known artist and use my art to give back to the community and help others.
