"Stargazing" People's Choice Award

"Stargazing" is an acrylic painting that has various symbolic meanings. Looking up to the stars can mean dreaming of attaining your beloved aspirations in life. The crescent moon means that you might not be there yet, achieving what your ultimate aim is. The figure (modeled by my younger daughter, Pei) is drawn in forced perspective, to emphasize the motion of stretching up towards the sky, connecting with the universal energies. Gazing up at the night sky might also symbolize searching for answers to "What's up there?" "Why are we here?" "Is there anyone else out there?" or looking for UAP that you thought you saw!! The meaning of the artwork rests with the observer of the painting.
